![]() This was the first time Shiner had been ridden bareback. He manuvered around cones, over poles, and over a tarp. We thought we'd see what he'd do if we put the tarp on his head. He didn't seem to mind. |
![]() This was taken right after Mike mounted Shiner for the very first time at age 2. Just another day in school. |

| Scenic Blue Step, 1999 Black Tobiano Mare. We purchased Blue as a weanling, started her in our fashion and she had a successful show career as a yearling. Blue is shown here after winning a yearling longe line class. We sold her as a two year old. |

| Shown in these four photos is Jason, a 1978 AQHA gelding registered as Country Disaster. I raised him from a weanling. In these pictures with Mike, Jason was still going strong at the age of 21. He was a great companion for 22 years until his death in 2000 due to complications of colic. | |

Congratulations to Blake and her purchase of Shiner. Shiner was not actually for sale, it was as though the two found each other and it's been a terrific match. She and Shiner are beginning a new chapter in their lives. Shiner is currently in reining training and you can expect to see him and Blake in the show ring starting in the fall. |
